The cancellation of Star Wars The Acolyte of CHAOS!
(2024). I’m not a fan of anime, I have nothing against it (I’ve watched maybe 2 anime films in my almost 40 years of life), so I’m not particularly qualified to comment on the quality of the animation. All I can say is that I was worried about Tolkien’s story told in anime style, but I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the film.
I liked the music and sound in general
I really liked this unusual but beautiful combination of Middle Earth and anime. The story is good, simple, but it works: I felt for our characters, I smiled, I almost cried several times. The helm was amazing (my favorite in the movies).
The main character is very nice, she deeply cares about her family and people, and it’s very refreshing
This story is both new and very familiar, especially if you know your books and love the LOTR trilogy. Maybe it’s nostalgia, but I left the cinema with a smile on my face and a very cozy warm feeling somewhere in my chest. It’s certainly not the level of the LOTR trilogy, but it’s good, and I hope to see more stories like this in the future.
