The events of the series continue in Superman (2025)

Story

Universe is promising and a welcome sight

But Creature Commandos is a return to form for quality animation

The story takes care of the characters and the animation is top notch. Speaking of the animation, the new “Tomorrow-verse” animation looked very cheap and flat, with no life in the animation style or stories. The DC Universe of great stories like “Under the Red Hood,” “Justice League: Dark,” and “Superman: Doomsday” set the standard for quality comic book animation. I collected all the animated movies from that era and had no interest in the Tomorrow universe due to lazy writing and lazy cartooning.

The art style is fun, lively, and well-drawn

I already care about the characters and the story is interesting. James Gunn is off to a great start in this universe and is making his upcoming projects highly anticipated. The new Superman movie is definitely on my must-see list. Catch up on the series, it’s only 2 episodes, but the anticipation and connection with the characters is there.
