Known as Beaver Bank Villa, it has a long history and many years ago contained housing units, a community hall, fire station, school, church, grocery store, etc. (all demolished by 2004) to support the workers of the nearby military radar base that operated in the 1950s and 1960s. All that remains are the paved streets and driveways, and on these a faux town has been built. When Boyd enters a distant tree, he finds himself at the bottom of a well. A rope is lowered down to him. When Boyd emerges from the well, only Martin is in the room, chained to the wall. Martin has not dropped the rope. Much better than I thought based on some of the negative reviews here. So good I watched the first two seasons in a long weekend. Can’t wait for the third season to come out. Great premise for a show with some similarities to shows like Lost and Wayward Pines but different enough that I didn’t feel like I was watching the same show. Definitely recommend to anyone who likes horror/mystery with a bit of gore. Very enjoyable and fun to watch. I just hope there are more seasons, or at least enough so we can get answers to all the questions I still have. One of the best shows I’ve seen in a while.
