13/11
The film was shot on location on the historic Independence Square in Independence, Missouri, which actually looks like that year round
Alana Higman, a die-hard Kansas City Chiefs fan and her family are competing to win the team's Fan of the Year contest, in a process judged by the director of fan engagement Derrick.. Get your fill of happily-ever -afters with this year's lineup of holiday-themed romantic movies to watch from the comfort of home.. The locations that served as the Higman family's store and Norma and Nick's BBQ restaurant are family owned shops in real life too.
Nope, nada, boring, silly
The Square also does a Christmas lighting like the one in the film.. sorry but where the heck was Christmas??? I think this movie was dreadful!!
Hallmark super hyped it up so we would all watch with anticipation- what a huge fumble!
I know many people will roll their eyes with this review but hey, it's my opinion. I thought the actors did a good job with what they had to work with but what really threw me was very early on as the leads were sitting around the fire and at some point they stood up and suddenly held hands…. Nah, it doesn't happen like that, there was very little build up to produce a hand holding at that point in time.
The CGI or whatever it's called was so clearly fake
The fact the lead actress would put so much faith in a hat was nothing short of absurdity, she was ready to throw her potential life partner away over a hat- really? As another reviewer stated, it truly was a bumble and a super duper fumble! I gave it a 6 for the acting, some parts were ok especially with the grandfather, I found him endearing.
Sorry Hallmark, you missed your mark with this one
