I’ve been waiting for episode 4 to really dig into this for a long time. The goal was to give myself a chance to appreciate the gift that the many A-list actors who contributed to the creation of this work, which, by the way, was enjoyed and appreciated by many despite mixed reviews. Many viewers have been told stories from a similar perspective, but this perspective remains exciting here, as a confusing but well-woven plot is entangled in the female lead, each of whom reliably captures our attention when she appears. We can’t tell halfway through whether this sense of urgency as we discover more and more of what’s happening will remain at its current level, but considering the subject matter covered, the budget, and the talent pool they’re managing to bring this to the screen, it’s going to be hard to miss the landing, especially given the series’ solid foundation.
