In a prison where prisoners are fed on a descending platform, those at the top get more than their fair share, those at the bottom starve on scraps, and one man decides to change the system. The film was shot chronologically as Ivan. Massagué had to lose 12 kilos (26 pounds) during the six-week shoot to show his physical deterioration.. FoundFlix Features: The Platform (2020) Explained (2020). The idea behind the story is interesting and the film is effective and powerful but the ending left me a bit confused and disappointed.
