Story

The Jackal is an elusive assassin who makes his living by carrying out hits for the highest reward. He soon meets his match in a tough British intelligence officer who tracks him down in an exciting cat-and-mouse chase across Europe. The "Day of the Jackal" The novel is set in 1963 and featured the assassination of then French President Charles de Gaulle.

Remake of Day of the Jackal (1973). Lashana Lynch is not a main character, in fact, I have seen much better acting at the local amateur theater. It’s a real shame because he’s not at all convincing in his role.

relevant to the overall plot

Flip our strong performance, but Lynch’s weak central performance ruins the show for me. Because of his lack of credibility, you don’t care about his family problems. I also wish they hadn’t pulled the series: there are a lot of filler scenes and storylines that don’t feel necessary or special.

I really hope the series picks up with the next few episodes, but I don’t think it will be enough to redeem itself. Shame!. The "Silo" is one of the biggest TV and streaming premieres this month.
