A ranching family in Montana must fend off others who want to take over their land. Forrie J. Smith, who plays Lloyd, is an experienced rodeo enthusiast. I don’t think anyone makes better Westerns than Kevin Costner, and with Taylor Sheridan’s script, the whole thing is a win-win for viewers. Watch Wind River for an example of what Taylor Sheridan can do. Where has Cole Hauser been hiding? He’s incredible. I guess the daughter is a necessary role, but she’s an over-the-top bitch. The scenery is fantastic, and being from Colorado, I can really appreciate the wide, beautiful land. Do yourself a favor and get hooked on this series because it’s going to be a hit.
